Vahram Arakelov
Ph.D.In Silico Drug Discovery Senior Scientist
Vahram Arakelov is an in silico drug discovery senior scientist at Deep Origin, where he applies computational approaches to small-molecule design and discovery. He has worked at the Institute of Molecular Biology NAS RA and has lectured at the Russian-Armenian University and Yerevan State University.
His published work spans structure-based drug design, molecular dynamics, and deep reinforcement learning for chemical design, with applications ranging from influenza and African swine fever virus to carbonic anhydrase inhibitors and tubulin-targeting agents. He is a co-author on the Cell paper describing KAT-TCIPs, bivalent molecules that redirect p300/CBP to activate cell-death networks repressed by the oncogenic driver BCL6.
