Ashot Papoyan is the COO–Scientific Development at Deep Origin, a drug discovery biotechnology company. He brings extensive experience in ion channel and membrane protein biology from his decade-plus tenure at TetraGenetics, where he progressed from Postdoctoral Research Associate to Associate Director, and as Co‑Founder and CEO of Elm Tree Research and Elm Tree Clinic. Ashot holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Cornell University and an MS in Biophysics from Yerevan State University. His expertise spans molecular biology, biophysics, and translational drug discovery operations.
